“I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating.” – Sophocles
Tomorrow is election day, and what will be the outcome? No one knows.
Worst case scenario is that tomorrow night through Wednesday morning the same shenanigans as 2020 will be implemented. Counting is “halted” for the evening after totals are already added up in swing states and then, over the next two days, mail in ballots are manufactured in the required number and added to the actual totals in order to secure a Democrat “Victory.”
The machines are also not to be trusted.
This year, however, there are eyes on it in every state. James O’Keefe has troops on the ground with cameras everywhere it’s legally allowed, and the RNC, for once, has legal teams ready to go after any and all cheating.
Republicans have stepped up for poll watching duty and as election judges. Voter registration and early voting indicates a Trump win, however, all of us still have to show up!
But, short of a Reagan/Mondale-style blow out that’s indisputable, it can still all go South. Perhaps on Wednesday morning the winner will be announced and that will be that, I just don’t see either side accepting a loss and giving up. It could take weeks of court hearings before we know who will be sworn in next January.
My point being, it’s probably a good idea for all of us to mentally prepare for a drawn-out process – a process that may not produce a verdict in our favor.
Of course, if it is in our favor, I also don’t see leftists going quietly. It seems obvious that there will be violent protests, and perhaps more lawfare against Trump – as well as the potential of not certifying the election, jailing him (sentencing in NY is scheduled a few weeks from now), or assassination.
If Harris is sworn in it’s all speculation on what we can look forward to. However, its an easy guess that more communism, regulations, higher taxes, inflation, wars, unemployment, censorship, political witch hunts, gun laws, and perhaps another world war are on the table. I’m also not sure how Trump stays out of jail in that event.
Probably the most irritating and torturous result of a Harris win with be all the smug diatribes by Hollywood elites that we’ll be forced to endure. They’ll be confident that their Epstein/P-Diddy problems vanishing, and they will get loud.
Nothing is more insulting than evil lecturing you about how righteous it is.
But, here we are, and we’ll need to navigate it.
Let’s start with what we have control over:
1. If you haven’t voted yet, do so. No excuses, make it happen. And it couldn’t hurt to text everyone you know and remind them to, as well. It’s also not a bad idea to offer to give friends, family, and neighbors a lift to the polls.
2. Keep fuel tanks topped off. From now till January, do not let them get below 3/4.
3. Check your food inventory. Rotate out and replace as needed.
4. Check your medical supplies. Add and replace as needed. Fill prescriptions.
5. Water filtration is a priority. A life straw isn’t enough. We need to be able to provide 5-10 gallons a day per person. Cooking, washing, drinking. This has been a hard lesson learned by many in South Carolina. Even towns that are were standing maintained boil orders for weeks.
6. Carry daily! Clean your pistols and rifles. Change optic and light batteries. Void magazines, inspect/wipe down rounds, recharge mags.
Get to the range and confirm zero on rifles (optics and iron sights), and pistol optics, if equipped.
7. Alternative communications. Sat phones, Bivy, Zoleo, handheld radios for neighborhood comms.
8. Catch up on all vehicle maintenance. Check tires, top off fluids. Check your spare tire!
9. Unpack, go through, and repack go bags.
10. Make sure fire extinguishers are up to date. Change out smoke and radon detector batteries.
11. Go through emergency plans with friends, family, and trusted neighbors.
12. Avoid angry social media posts. DO NOT give the authorities an excuse to pay a visit! Remember, we are persons of honor, we should behave as such.
13. Head on a swivel. Don’t go to any “January 6” type rallies. Avoid the mob.
As to the things we can’t control, if there’s nothing we can do about them, then we do our best to de-stress.
1. Exercise
2. Eat right
3. Practice whatever faith you may have.
4. Get fresh air and sunlight
5. Spend quality time with spouses, children, family, and friends.
6. Reduce screen time – read physical books.
7. Get sleep.
I know all reading this are patriots. Look at the turn out for the Trump rallies and remember, you are not alone! If we find ourselves robbed this election, we can still live better, happier, more productive lives than the left – doing so in spite of them is the real win.
And, GO VOTE!
