“In great contests each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God. Both may be, and one must be wrong.” – Abraham Lincoln
Leftist violence continues to escalate with no end in sight. Over the past two weeks since the assassination of Charlie Kirk there has been a sniper attack in an ICE facility in Dallas, a Sacramento ABC TV affiliate station shot up, an attempted bombing of Fox News truck in Utah, a second bombing plot against the governor of New Hampshire was foiled, also in New Hampshire a country club was the scene of a “free Palestine!” shouting gunman who took the life of an employee, a Trump administration official was attacked in a bathroom at the UN on Thursday, and on Friday “protestors” attempted to breach the fence at an ICE facility in Bridgeview, IL – they were physically stopped with pepperballs and teargas. There have also been countless skirmishes and confrontations between ICE agents and protesters all across the nation.
In Huston Thursday, a “Halloween” display appeared in a private home’s yard depicting a life-size gallows with two ICE agents hanging from it.
Also on Thursday, DJT signed an executive order declaring ANTIFA a terrorist organization. The leftist media, of course, went into an absolute meltdown, which makes perfect Orwellian sense because they’ve been trying to convince us for years that ANTIFA doesn’t actually exist, and that it’s “just an idea.”
It’s probable that many media pundits, county prosecutors, politicians, and political organizers have much closer ties to ANTIFA than we realize. The money is flowing from somewhere, and it’s certainly a they “doth protest too much, methinks” situation. The media runs cover either because they are allied with, or in fear of, ANTIFA – perhaps it is a combination of both.
A certain late night “comedian” was fired due to backlash regarding his comments on the Kirk assassination. His ratings were abysmal when compared to his paycheck and the shows production costs; in a sane world he would have been cancelled years ago. But, it has been obvious since the first Trump term that the hemorrhage of money was tolerated in order to keep the mouthpiece in place.
The desperation is easy to identify once one sees the average YouTube, TicTok, and Instagram views received by Charlie Kirk, Tim Pool, Joe Rogan, and the vast majority of those hated by leftists. There are single video clips of Charlie’s campus Q&As that eclipse episodes of the late night talk shows 20 to 1, and we’re produced at the cost of the snack table in the ABC green room.
ABC received thousands of direct treats over the firing, and, as mentioned, an affiliate station in Sacramento was shot up by a leftist during non-business hours. ABC has capitulated and reinstated the show’s host.
This has been the pattern for decades. When the right complains, writes letters, and boycotts, they are roundly ignored. Even threats of violence are waived off – the right is not taken seriously because they are good people who exercise self-control – in other words, a non-treat.
The left has no problem engaging in violence. It’s been an established pattern since Marx was first published. When the left makes threats they carry weight. They set fire to cities and riot when one of their saints dies of a fentanyl overdose during an arrest. They don’t just boycott TESLA, they vandalize the cars and set the dealerships on fire. When the Bolsheviks show you who they are, believe it.
Charlie Kirk continually stated that when the talking stops the violence begins, and he was spot on correct. However, the problem we now face isn’t a matter of people refusing to talk, or even refusing to talk because they cannot defend their positions with logic or facts. Charlie proved day after day, year after year, that the left’s ideas could not withstand the slightest application of logic – there’s nothing new, there.
The left was reduced to that of a teenager screaming at the top of their lungs at mom because they aren’t allowed to use the car. The difference now is that the teen is on SRIs and vocalizing how they want mom dead. It’s no longer about bringing them to the table and using reason, it is an issue of keeping them from cutting Mom’s throat in her sleep.
To the left, Charlie Kirk’s assassination represents success. It’s not a tragedy, or a line that shouldn’t have been crossed – in their minds it’s exactly what he, and the rest of us, (and mom) deserve. It serves as nothing but encouragement to engage in more violence, exactly as we have seen escalate over the past two weeks
Thursday, recruitment posters for the John Brown Gun Club (a communist/anarchist militia training organization) appeared on the campus of Georgetown University proclaiming “Hey, Fascist! Catch!” The phrase (we are told) was inscribed on one of the shell casings in Kirk’s assassin’s rifle. They have no qualms about using that murder as a recruitment strategy, and they have no problem placing their intentions on full display. They are building their force, and they know exactly what it will be used for.
There are many suggesting that America is on the cusp of a hot civil war. I’m not sure I agree. I don’t think the numbers are there. What I do think is that we are seeing the opening salvos of what could potentially grow into a civil war – but, that could still be years, or a decade away, if it were to happen at all.
We’re dealing with a completely different climate, people, technology, and mindset than has any other civil war in history. There are too many unknowns to make any accurate predictions. The bulk of leftist agitator “foot soldiers” are on psyche drugs, and the majority of Americans on both sides are fat. Everyone involved is addicted to sugar, caffeine, and their phone. Most have some ailment in need of pharmaceuticals, and few have ever slept on the ground. I’m just not too sure who exactly is going to be fighting the “civil war” after the first few hours of it expire.
There is also the AI/Drone/advanced warfare technologies factor that most of us are simply not up to date on. The sci-fi/Terminator scenario that is supposed to evolve at some far-off future date is actually here, we just haven’t noticed, yet.
I also don’t think the present administration will put up with the citizenry going to physical war with itself. The military would be used to quell it, and it would be a hammer that comes down hard and fast.
One’s concern for the potential of a kinetic shooting war on American streets is certainly understandable, I just don’t think is a practical (or, at least, long term) outcome to the present situation. But, to be fair, that scale could tip drastically with the introduction of support from cartels/narco-terrorists or a foreign government. And, we can’t forget the level of infiltration that has occurred in all branches of federal and state governments. Again, it’s not something that I’m able to quantify.
So, where does it leave us? Well, for the present moment, still in mortal jeopardy from leftist violence. The shootings, bombings, and physical attacks will continue. It took over 70-years to create this beast, and it isn’t going away overnight.
There may even be some organized “group” attacks formulated by ANTIFA-types against soft targets, resulting in double or triple digit numbers of casualties. Such an event would be escalation, and may even resort is some physical push back from the right. However, military will be involved before it turns into a fire that can’t be put out.
As I was writing this DJT authorized SECWAR Hegseth to bring troops into Portland to guard Federal facilities/ Live ammunition and use of force has also been authorized. We’ll see how it plays out, but I don’t see ANTIFA just calling it a decade and quitting.
Our response: We remain armed all waking hours with pistols, spare magazines, flashlights, and trauma kits. We keep our zero confirmed rifles as close as possible. We are always wearing proper footwear; we are always dressed for the weather.
Taking care of yourself and your family is YOUR responsibility. No one is going to do it for you, and no one is going to arrive in time to help. We are all on our own.
Ready, or not, here it comes!
