Fortress is proud to Host John Farnam for a 3-day Firearm Instructor Development Course w/night shoot, May 24-26, 2019, at the Sand Burr Gun Ranch in Rochester, Indiana.

Ages 18, and up.

[“Three days? But, it’s over memorial day weekend.” Yes! Get your priorities in order. You will have three days to spend picking the brains of John and Vicki Farnam, and they are charging their normal 2-day rate – Don’t miss this opportunity!]

Basic Info:

This course will require an auto-loading pistol, a back up gun, a revolver, a rifle, and a shotgun.

You will spend ½ day on each of the following firearm systems: Pistol, rifle, revolver, shotgun.

There will be an additional ½ day on effective instruction of female students, presented by Vicki Farnam, as well as public speaking and presentation of defensive firearm related information.

There will be a night shoot on Saturday, it will most likely be with your handgun. Tactical-style flashlight will be required.

This is not a class designed to “teach you to shoot”; you should already be a competent shooter. The intent is to develop your skills as an Instructor. Therefore, it’s up to you to be prepared. Holsters, mag carriers, speed loaders, slings, flashlights, cleaning gear, note pads, pens – you need to be ready.

If you need to borrow a shotgun or rifle due to flying in, or such, we can arrange that for you. Let us know.

Please note Rochester, IN, is on EASTERN time. We start at 9am Friday morning.

We will be ordering lunch in all 3 days – bring cash for your order, or pack a lunch. We will NOT be leaving the range to eat. Dinner on Saturday night will also be take out of some sort – if you’re diet is touchy, bring food with!

John & Vicki will also have copies of their book available for purchase, and will be happy to autograph them for you!
