Fortress is offering our Kubotan/Weapons Take-Away Class, Saturday, December 4th, at the St. Joseph County Conservation Club in Sturgis, Michigan.
The Kubotan is a martial art weapon designed as a lever/force multiplier for pain compliance, holds, and take downs.
The modern version is a plastic or metal 1/2 x 6″ “stick”, carried as a stand-alone device or on a key chain.
Class is “hands on”. Students will be applying holds and working with other students and instructors for the duration.
Included with tuition, each student will receive their own Kubotan to take home.
As time permits, we will also be working on pistol, rifle, and shotgun disarms.
Class is 3-hours.
Ages 14, and up.
Cost: $40

– Notebook and pen
– Safety glasses
– I pair of lightweight/thin gloves are also a good idea.
Dress in clothes and shoes you can move around in.
