Fortress is offering an abbreviated version of our 8-Hour Emergency Treatment of Gunshot Wounds Course, Thursday, December 1st, from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.
During an active murderer or terrorist event, emergency services are not allowed to enter the area until the scene is secured. At the Pulse nightclub that translated to THREE hours. Many of those who died could have been saved had those present known what to do!
This will be a comprehensive class focusing on the basic tools and techniques required to stabilize traumatic wounds until emergency medical services can be accessed.
Ages 16, and up (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.)
Cost: $55 per student, includes wound treatment kit to take home.
